BROTHERS, Harmon - Putnam

Complications resulting from the fracture of a hip when he fell last Saturday caused the death Tuesday of Harmon M. Brothers, 92, of Fincastle. Death occured at the Putnam county hospital where Mr. Brothers was taken after the accident at his home in Fincastle. Mr. Brothers was a well known and a son of John and Elizabeth Brothers. In 1869 he was married to Sena Gregg who died in 1875. In 1878 he was married to Christine Bell who survives. Besides the widow two sons; Clay and Alva Brothers, both of Greencastle, a daughter Mrs. Etta Erb of Bellingham, Washington, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren survive. Funeral services were held this afternoon at the residence with burial in Blakesburg cemetery west of Fincastle.   --- thanks so much to Marilyn W :)
